Capture Photography, Devon
My photography journey began in 1999, and with over 26 years of professional experience behind the lens, I’ve had the privilege of capturing thousands of precious moments for families across Devon.
After starting my career as a photographer for a local evening newspaper and later working in commercial and sports photography, I founded Capture Photography in 2011. Since then, my passion has been creating beautiful, timeless images of newborns, babies, children and families that will be treasured for generations.
Photography is about so much more than taking pictures – it’s about preserving the moments that matter most. My aim is to create a relaxed, enjoyable experience where genuine smiles, natural connections and real emotions shine through in every photograph.
Our welcoming studio is nestled in a quiet and secluded corner of Preston, Paignton. Attached to our home, it offers a warm, private and comfortable environment for your session, with ample free parking and easy access for prams, making your visit as relaxed and stress-free as possible.

We went here for a newborn photoshoot as a new family of 3, we couldn’t have asked for a more positive experience. The way they were able to keep little man so relaxed and settle him was amazing and the photos are better than I could’ve imagined. Can’t recommend enough

The most amazing experience as a new family of 3!
We took our 2 week old baby girl and we were anxious how she would be, but Karen and her mum were both absolutely fantastic with her. I felt so relaxed watching how comfortable she was during the photoshoot and we can not wait to see the gorgeous photos captured!!! Such a lovely experience for us all!

I can’t begin to tell you how incredible Karen is, from the minute you walk in, you feel comfortable, which for a mum with a newborn is so important. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing, I had to cancel twice last minute due to illness and Karen was so understanding. The photos I will cherish forever and we’ll be coming back when my little girl is a bit older for more!
